Another 48-Hour project, this time competing internationally. Co-produced again with Olivia Gifford this short film is about a very British apocalypse. We've just found out it's won third place in the International Shootout.

Co-produced with Olivia Gifford Special People was made for the Edinburgh 48-Hour Film Challenge where it won Best Film, Best Director and an Audience Award. Special People was also nominated for the Jim Poole Scottish Short Film Award 2009 and has been accepted into London Short Film Festival 2010. It will go on to represent Scotland at Filmapalooza 2010, the International Finals of all 48-Hour Film Projects in Las Vegas.

The Elemental (2009)

Blue Iris teamed up with Northlight Productions Ltd on this project. It was shot by Jan Pester on the RED camera and received UK Film Council completion funds.

The Elemental first screened at Edinburgh International Film Festival as part of the UKFC Completion Fund programme. It has since got into Shockerfest, USA and the London Short Film Festival 2010.

Night School (2008)

Shot on RED by Robbie Ryan Night School had its first public screening at Encounters Film Festival where it was well received. Subsequently it has been shown at Edinburgh International Film Festival, Film Insiders Talent Festival, Busho Budapest Short Film Festival and Cinefest, Hungary. Night School has just been selected for the European competition at the Vendôme Film Festival in France and the London Short Film Festival 2010.

It's now available to watch online at Shooting People where it won Film of the Month for January 2010 and on BBC Film Network.
